Token management

Issue, cancel, transfer, and prioritise tokens programmatically. Support for walk-in, appointment, and VIP token types with custom service categories.

Queue state

Read current queue depth, estimated wait times, service point status, and staff assignments in real time. Subscribe to state changes via webhooks.

Notifications

Trigger SMS, WhatsApp, or email notifications through the API. Full delivery tracking, consent management, and bilingual message templates.

Analytics

Pull wait-time distributions, service duration metrics, throughput reports, and staff utilisation data. Export to CSV or connect to your BI tool.

Webhooks

Receive real-time events for token issued, customer called, service started, service completed, no-show, and transfer. Configurable per event type.

Tenant configuration

Configure service points, queue rules, notification templates, display board content, and staff roles — all through the management API.

The BoringQMS API follows RESTful conventions with JSON request and response bodies. Authentication is via API key or JWT. All endpoints are served over HTTPS with TLS 1.3.
